Lesson title: Homecoming Mums and Garters
Objectives:
– We will begin identifying floral tools
– Students will discover and identify different floral industry standards for Homecoming.
– Students will collaborate in hands on activities activities.
– Students will assemble homecoming braids
– Students will design homecoming mum template that will be used to create their own homecoming item.

Lesson title: Who are You? Who am I? Welcome to Ag!

– Students will be engaged as a class and develop a relationship with our class.
– Students will connect and engaged on their online platform that will be utilized all year.
– Students will collaborate in team building activities.
– We will analyze the expectations of the course.

Floral Design in a hands on project based class were we break down how to create beautiful flower arrangements!
I will also be using Google Classroom for assignments and Parent Square for updates.

SUPPLIES:

1 folder with pockets and brads for notes/ assignments. -This will be used while we wait for Chromebooks and to keep pieces of projects together while we create. This will stay with the students each day.

Lesson title: Floral 1 Knowledge Based Certification
Objectives:
– We will review the concepts needed for the Floral Knowledge Based Certification Exam
– Students will participate in matching activities to understand the vocabulary of floral design
– Students will evaluate the different types of flowers required in sketch and color form
– Students will define major key concepts in the floral industry
– Students will be evaluated through the certification testing platform
