Lesson title: Wedding Unit
Objectives:
– We will evaluate the different components of weddings in the floral industry
– Students will create a mock wedding that contains all floral components
– Students will establish a floral budget and industry sale advertisement
– Students will build a wedding portfolio
– Students will design a wedding bouquet, boutineer, corsage, and cake topper
– students will Coordinate with the culinary department to develop a mock wedding cake for a client

– We will discuss different types of sympathy designs

– students will create a casket design
– Students will design a miniature easel design
– Students will decorate a houseplant for a funeral delivery
